The Library is having a collection of more than 30 thousand print documents, subscribing to 87 print journals. The collection consists of Books, Back volumes Periodicals, Conference Proceedings, Standards, Reports, Microforms, and CD-ROM Databases and Audiovisual materials.
Text BooksThe Library uses Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme to classify its documents. Each subject is assigned to a classification number to locate book on shelf. Books are arranged on the racks in the ascending order of classification numbers. The total numbers of text books have 29556 on various subjects of Arts, Science, Management Studies, Paramedical & Allied Health Science streams.
Reference BooksReference Books such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, handbooks, manuals, directories, and specialized subject guides are housed in the library to support the academic needs of its users. The reference books are displayed in separate almirahs with easy visibility and are available for reading purpose only. They provide concise and reliable information on a wide range of topics, serving students, researchers, and the general user seeking accurate information for academic, professional, or personal purposes. The total numbers of reference books have 4383.
Rare BooksThe Library have few rare books. These books can be accessed by the users after special permission of the librarian.
Gifted BooksThe library has a very good collection of gifted books of different subjects. These books are gifted by the teachers, students, publishers, guest faculty, and alumni of the college. The total numbers of gift books have 2127.
Print JournalsThe Library subscribes to 87 print journals. The current issues of these periodicals are kept in the current periodical display room. They are arranged department-wise. Within each department the periodicals are arranged in the alphabetical order of their titles. A list of recent arrival of print journals is pasted on the notice board adjacent to the current periodical display room and is also circulated via 'Gmail' on weekly basis.
